That little kid in me

The little kid in me
knows how to enjoy the rain
 making paper boats
and not complain about the traffic it caused

The little kid in me
knows to look in the mirror
and be joyous about the appearance
no matter how "good" or "bad" people might call it

The little kid in me
knows how to make friends easily
no matter "man/woman", "rich/poor"
what labels they have been given

The little kid in me
knows how to live in a moment
without worrying a bit about
less important things

The little kid in me
knows to rejoice every small thing
who cares what others
put a value on it

The little kid in me
knows how to quickly build a relation
with dear ones even after
the biggest fights

The little kid in me
became quieter and quieter
as it started listening to the world's
unnecessary noise

The little kid in me
hope remembers always that
it is a trap and
hope he never grows up.
