I was looking for a friend to walk with with me in laughter and in pain wherever I looked I found instead someone busy with different priorities someone occupied with prejudice someone taken over by judgmental mind many people with jealousy, comparisons and false egos.  So I decided to be a friend instead exactly the one I was searching for and then I saw individuals in need  looking for help looking for healing looking for support looking for comfort looking for just a sheer togetherness Now I feel worthwhile because I am a friend to others  almost the one I was looking for I still wish though that hopefully one day I will be able to think wisely to get pleasure out of the relationships  without any strings attached I will be without any self doubt  to stand alone and to help others in need.  I will be so strong that I can get strength from the universe and never feel directionless when I feel lonely!

Thanks for the places  where I can be a child again  for making life easy and for keeping me sane.  Thanks to mom and dad where I can still get mad for not picking up my phone and for not being there when I was sad.  Thanks to big brother where I can still be a princess where I can get all the guidance with unlimited access Thanks to childhood friends where I can talk without filter when the routine starts taking over I can look there for a shelter Thanks to that school friend where I can sing my heart out like no one is listening and with a heart without any doubt Thanks to my kids where I can run and play silly where I can scream out loud and an walk and dance freely Thanks to your world where mistakes are allowed where you love me without a judgment and accept me and be proud

The shower of grace  every moment, now and then I feel the gratitude when the mind is sane I wonder what nice things I might have done to deserve this love and to be the lucky one The mind is miserly it wants to hold on It fears many times that the happiness will be gone So I thank the universe for all the beautiful grace I pray for the strength and the ability to embrace I pray for the intelligence  to trust what is chosen to let go the things and to be free not frozen The prayers will be heard I am pretty sure 'cause I have always seen the light within during the moments of deep fear
